My #1 favorite homeschool podcast is Schoolhouse Rocked. It’s been so encouraging. Lots of wonderful topics and guests. Each episode is directed back toward the love of Christ. If you only looking into one podcast, I recommend this one. They’ve had so many guests that truly span a huge part of the Christian homeschool community. The founders of this podcast will also be releasing a homeschool documentary Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution. It’s slated to be released in November and I’m so excited to see it!

My #2 favorite homeschool/Christian life podcast is Off the Bench with Heidi St. John. So many good things covered and no punches pulled. Once again every episode is directed back to Christ. This podcast does delve into other topics such as politics and biblical womanhood. It is an excellent resource and Heidi is a fantastic lady.

My #3 & #4 favorite homeschool are the podcasts from Memoria Press, Classical Et Cetera and The Homechool Journal. They both contain valuable information with quality interviews especially for those interested in Classical education. While they are produced by Memoria Press you do not have to use their curriculum to benefit from these podcasts. They cover the facets of classical education as well as general challenges/ opportunities homeschoolers have with encouragement along the way.

My #5 favorite homeschool podcast is The Arts of Language podcast produced by IEW. The wisdom in some of these podcasts is priceless and, once again, while it is produced by a curriculum company you do not have to use their curriculum to glean information from it. It primarily focuses around the language arts giving insight and advice for educators on how to help children grow in their abilities to communicate.

My #6 favorite homeschool podcast is Let’s Talk Homeschool. Produced by the owners of Apologia, this podcast focuses on the life and day to day of homeschool families. They rarely discuss their curriculum, instead they focus their energy on sharing what they’ve learned over the years homeschooling their own children. This podcast also looks at biblical parenting in today’s culture.
